Hotel California
By Bretton B. Holmes
March 26 – April 19, 2015
Two religious zealots hole themselves in a rundown hotel in Anaheim, California. Their goal is to blow up the most famous amusement park in the world and take down the “Mouse.” A war erupts between the two men after they visit the “Magic Kingdom” to do reconnaissance and discover that it is indeed “The Happiest Place on Earth” and can't agree if it shouldn be destroyed. This no holds barred comedy skewers American consumerism, fanaticism, religious zealotry, and pork rinds. This scandalous play was first presented as a staged reading during our “7 Plays in 7 Days” festival and was hands down the audience and critics favorite. It brings us great pleasure to fully mount this shocking, politically offensive and very funny play. World Premier.
The play runs Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM.
Additional shows on Wednesday, April 8 at 8 PM and Sunday, April 19 at 2 PM
